Sole Trader Registration — JDG in Poland

We help you set up a sole trader business (JDG) in Poland quickly and stress-free. We handle the entire process — from PKD codes to the CEIDG‑1 application and ZUS registration.

What is JDG?

JDG Registration Steps

  1. Company name and PKD codes — We determine the company name (must include your first and last name) and select the PKD codes matching your business activity. Correctly chosen PKD codes affect eligibility for preferential tax forms.
  2. Business address — We indicate the main place of business on the CEIDG‑1 form. This can be a home address, office, co-working space or virtual office. We help you choose the right solution.
  3. CEIDG‑1 application — We submit the CEIDG‑1 form online or at the council office. One form handles several tasks at once: CEIDG registration, forwarding data to the tax office, GUS and ZUS. At the same time we select the tax form.
  4. VAT registration (optional) — VAT registration is not mandatory if annual turnover is below PLN 240,000. However, if you work with foreign companies or clients, we recommend registering as a VAT payer (23%). We advise on this.
  5. ZUS registration — Every entrepreneur must register with ZUS. This can be done automatically when registering with CEIDG‑1 by ticking the appropriate box. New entrepreneurs benefit from the 'start relief' and reduced contributions for the first 2 years.
